Angel Wind Energy was founded in 2008 to provide central Illinois
and Northwest Indiana with a viable, affordable solution to the
rising costs of energy.
Although in the Wind Industry for 1 year, our team has experience in
construction, concrete, excavation, and tower installation for the
past 30 years.
Angel Wind Energy is the Midwest's First Windspire Dealer, one of the
first 10 dealers world-wide, and one of the only dealers who have completed
Advanced Vertical Axis Turbine training installing 5'-20' Windspire Extensions.
We are one of the first 4 Skystream Factory Trained Installers in
Illinois and Indiana. We have worked under Illinois's finest installers. We
believe in telling people the truth about wind speed and production values for
turbines.
We not only sell the products to provide for a better future, we also offer a
knowledgeable staff that can help make recommendations on which type of
wind turbine you should choose, the costs/benefits of each type, and complete
installations/ maintenance.

At Angel Wind Energy, We want you to have a good understanding

Our installation team has a combined 30 years in the Home
Remodeling and New Construction trades.
Ben Harroun, Co-Founder and Vice President
Our primary site evaluator and system designer has two degrees
from Illinois State University in both Art & Design and Technology.
He has first-hand experience in wind site evaluation, and from
studying the principles of Mick Sagrillo(America's leading small
wind expert), and works by Paul Gipe and Dan Chiras. Ben is a
factory trained installer for all Southwest Windpower products,
factory trained and Advanced Vertical Axis Turbine training by
Mariah Power. He has been mentored by Proven Energy's United
States Certified Installation teacher, and has studied wind/
renewable energy extensively over the past two years. He has
worked in the remodeling/construction business for 7 years with
experience in roofing, foundations, electrical, plumbing, drywall,
and general construction.
Will Harroun, Co-Founder and Project Manager
One of our installers and project manager is a factory trained
installer for all Southwest Windpower products, factory trained and
Advanced Vertical Axis Turbine training by Mariah Power. He has
been mentored by Proven Energy's United States Certified
Installation teacher and attended two years of study at Kankakee
Community College in Construction Management. He has been a
general contractor in central Illinois for the past 8 years remodeling
over 15 homes from start to finish, working on new construction,
and experienced in concrete forming, excavation, electrical, and
troubleshooting situations.
Michael Harroun, Co-Founder and President
Our President and sales director has over 30 years in the home
renovation trade. Specializing in septic installation, general
remodeling, concrete forming, electrical, gas, plumbing, drywall,
and painting. Michael is owner of both the Harvest Moon Twin
Drive-in(a business run by him for 20 years) and Angel
Services(formerly Angel Auto-a business operated in a town of
1300 people for over 25 years). He excels at offering people the
type of service they would expect forty years ago. He has a
longevity to his businesses based on simple, honest principles.
On our larger installations, Angel Wind Energy uses the top
sub-contractors in the Wind Industry. They have experience
installing turbines as small as 10kw Bergeys to the massive 1.5
Megawatt wind farm units across the country. All of our work is
performed to exacting standards. We do not cut corners on our
installations and deliver the best service, products, and prices for
our clients.
